idk it just makes me rll happy that a character like McGucket, who was viewed as a Kooky Side Character for Comic Relief, turned out to be so vital to the plot of the entire series and ultimately a huge piece of the puzzle in solving the mysteries of Gravity Falls (who wrote the journals, discovering and destroying the society of the blind eye, etc) and that the little “cr*zy” lil hillbilly who ppl laughed at out or were embarrassed by (in the case of his son) turned out to a fucking Hero i’m talking capital H here

nd i’m happy that’s he’s canonically neurodivergent and even though he “regained his sanity” he didn’t change as a person, he’s still a humble little hillbilly who just happens to live in a mansion w/ his raccoon wife and likes to make huge robots as a hobby. i’m glad that he didn’t rlly go back to the person he was tbh, i mean not fully, bc it’s been so long and he’ll never rlly be exactly the same i don’t think, but that’s okay bc who he is now is great !! he’s happy and is finally getting the recognition and praise he deserves and who could want more than that?
